Our will is to keep perennially this process of integration of persons with disabilities within the group.
During the year 2007, Samsic Cleanliness has initiated and implemented actions to promote a greater accountability of our staff in terms of preservation of environment and natural resources while promoting the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies. These acts reaffirm our support and commitment to advancing the principles of the Global Compact.
In a concern for protecting the health of employees, a first alternative cleaning products was conducted in 2004, banning the command of detergents showing CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction).
In order to continue our ongoing efforts, several ranges of cleaners, having received the European Ecological Label, were referenced in 2006.
This European Ecological Label is now the only sign of environmental quality certified by an independent institution and recognised throughout Europe.
It guarantees, among others:
Desiring to move beyond the testing started in 2006, nearly 80% of the 72 settlements Samsic Clean commissioned in 2007 detergents eco-labelled. The number of litres of cleaning ecological consumed has increased by 30.

With this first dynamic and wishing to continue its efforts in the field of health protection and preservation of the environment, Samsic Clean undertakes, by the end of 2008, to replace 30% of its volume (litres) of products 'Routine maintenance by detergents having received the eco-label.
Samsic Clean wished to work in partnership with its main supplier of green chemistry to facilitate the dissemination of in-house cleaners eco-labelled.
Three areas for improvement have been identified in order to promote the substitution of traditional cleaning products with eco-labelled detergents, while ensuring quality delivery meet our commitments to our customers:
« The work of our teams was in a first time to make a breakthrough innovation in a world hitherto very traditional in terms of use and disposal of products. In addition, those products of 100% vegetable origin, psychological brake on efficiency criteria have asked the teams training Samsic pursue a teaching by example by demonstrating on-site training accompanied by explanatory in each facility.
Following the comments from users, we had to change (in conjunction with our R & D) the colour code of certain products to facilitate the use and recognition, while respecting the formulation Plant. The labels so far required an adjustment of colour code. As a result, the color code has also been transcribed on the label packaging.
In ethics, this partnership among Samsic and Atout Green has helped develop awareness of environmentally friendly products. But he also provided an opportunity to increase technological adaptation and extend the ideas to improve the use of these products (color codes, packaging,...).
The work continues obviously. »
These voluntary commitments have positive impacts not only for the preservation of the environment but also the working conditions of our people and economic development of our institutions. This substitution reconciles the three economic, social and environmental impact of our activity. An effective combination that included this approach in the context of sustainable development.
Beyond this alternative approach, the Group Samsic, with its commitments, is heading today to a complete overhaul of its working methods in the area of cleanliness.
